Could I hook my Laptop up to this HDTV???? 10 Points 4 BEST ANSWER!!!?

At first I was not looking on buying this one then now I am. The one I was going to buy I could hook my Laptop up and it will act like an external Monitor. Will this one?? I will be hooking up a MacBook Pro or a MacBook Air or a HP Computer. 10 Points for best answer.

I have a dell computer but i hook it up to my 47 in T.V. all the time. It is a bit hard to read but i would suggest buying a wireless mouse and keyboard.

Yes you can and I highly recommend it!

A very clever way to get a huge monitor without paying an insane premium. Of course, it wont be as good as an Apple Display but unless you are doing insane graphics you won't notice a difference.

I have the 42" version of this TV and I hook my MacBook Pro and PowerBook up to it all the time. All you need is a VGA cable and the Apple adapter that converts the VGA cable to DVI (which both your mac computers should have come with).

P.S. The key things to look for are "RGB" input. You dont want to bother with S-video or anything else like that. Poor quality.

if the tv has a S-video in, and your laptop has an S-video out, then yes you can hook them up. oh and dont get the Air, its complete c**p.
