Could I make the 2012 US bmx team?

I'm 17 now, and I have raced dirtbikes since I was 12. But I've always wanted to be in the olympics, and now that bmx is there would I have a chance of making the US team in 2012? If I train hard everyday for 4 years and totally dedicate those 4 years to riding?

Well if you really believe that you can dedicate the next 4 years to riding and perhaps join a team or get some professional help. You should also enter any competitions you can to get recognition.

why not you saw the course,  now get with your other riders if you have some and start to prepare  yourself Man are you the man or not you will have to be like lightning  you know, look at how the london course will be constructed get your a.. on that course asap weather in the park at the beach or in the canyons there has got to be the thirst for your dream to come true I talk to the guys that are friends with the winners at the olympics they know them as, well he said crazy mabe that's good ,me personally I am looking at this opportunity as ending the next four years up in the best shape of your life knowing your bike is a part of your very soul and the vision comes true each and every day,  your as quick as a cat and you fly with the grace of an eagle yea something like that but most of all you will always know you are the best that there is,  ever was , and ever will be  signed one of the few who have been there high in the sky!

yes, you can. I think the min age is 15. Just look at that us ladies swimmer she was in her early 40's (I think).
