  1. Commercial modeling is possible but do not lose weight.  Commercial models are supposed to look like pretty "real people" and are used in television commercials and ads in magazines.

You need a bit more height for runway and fashion modeling, the clothes are made for taller girls.

Why not forget about all of this and concentrate on your studies?  Modeling sucks.  Trust me... I did it.  It's constant rejection based on your looks and weight and height.  There's better things for a 13 y.o. to do in the world!

  2. I think you could....i'm 13 and i'm 5'3. you might wanna loose a little bit cause people are very mean and might call you large when truth is your probably not.

  3. If you're gonna shoot up 9 inches in the next five hours, no you cannot be a model. Models don't need to be really skinny; just fashionably skinny without promoting an eating disorder. ALSO, people are BORN with model bodies because they have good genes that let them eat normally like an ordinary working person and not have complications.

Nice skin, nice legs, nice arms, a womanly shape, a versatile face that can handle any haircut and still look beautiful; that's a model. Also, a good role model is also nice.

If you wanna be a model for Sears Children, be my guest. Unless you have an unpleasant face.

  4. Good god, okay. You're 5'2, weigh only 98 pounds and only 13. You have about another 5 or so years of growing, if you start dieting now then the chances are that you will STOP growing and you will be short.

Now, what kind of modeling are you considering? If you're thinking of doing catalogs (Sears, gap, Dove, etc) then you're probably in good shape. If you're considering doing high fashion (the stuff the girls on America's next top model are trying to do), then you have to wait until you're older. There are dozens of modeling agencies out there. Some look for short girls, young girls because they're aiming at a teen market. Also, the taste/style of the girls that agencies are looking for change from year to year. You could be going really strong for a few months then POOF! you're not getting any call-backs.

You're only 13. Eat some food, get engaged in some sports that will help you build some muscle (volleyball, softball, soccer) and come back in a few years (ie. 15-16).

  5. you have to grow a lot...

  6. you're not tall enough

and it takes more than looks to get into modeling

talk to a modeling agent instead of asking people on the internet. i'm sure an agent will help you way more and give you more of the information that you need :]

  7. yah.

  8. u r tooo short...

    sorry

  9. no you dont need to lose anything and your too short

  10. no your to short, grossly thin ( not cute thin at ALL) most likely your ugly. your to young and your not very smart!

  11. 5'2 is like average! tall would be 5'6. but as long as ur pretty, etc. etc. i think you could totally do it!

  12. no

  13. no cause 13 year old models have to be at least 5'6

  14. you are much too short..maybe commercial modeling...

dont be anorexic or anything ! you are already super thin

  15. ahh.. too short.. you have to be at least 5'8

  16. NEED A PIX TO BE ABLE TO GIVE AN HONEST ANSWER.

  17. no offense but you sound like a brat i mean, your bmi itself is like 18, even less, and if you loose like 10 pounds, it will be 16!!!!!!!!!!

so you do sound like a selfish brat

  18. For runway you'd have to be much taller but maybe catalogues

  19. You are skinny enough, but not tall.
