My dance teacher who has experience in acting said I would be great at it.

I was recording an intro for out recital.

She said I have a marketable face and a young voice.

What do you think?

  1. I'll be honest, you're too short to model. Catwalk models have to be at least 5'11- 6 feet tall. You could possibly get into print and comercials, but you'd first need an agent. At 13 you'll need parental approval for everything.

Acting is a talent, if you have it you need to train it. Study at a drama school once you finish college. Remember, although good looks help, they don't make you an actor. Acting is about portraying emotions truthfully.

It is an incredibly hard job. If you want to be in it for the money, and the fame forget it. If you want it because it's the only thing you can imagine doing, and you're passionate you stand a chance

    All the best!

  2. I don't know about whether or not you can act, but your face could be very marketable. Don't wait three years, because if you don't grow you will be to short to be a 16 year old model. You would be very good in commercials and ads now

  3. As Adar has said, most catwalk models are 5'11 - 6feet tall. However, the requirements for being a contestant on America's Next Top Model is a minimum of 5'6". I'll be honest and say that there is not as great of an opportunity for us shorter folk (as I am 5'2" myself).

    HOWEVER!

That doesn't mean you can't do it! If you have a wonderful voice (as your teacher states), that will definitely help push you along! Start out doing commercial modeling. They usually don't care about size as long as you present yourself well. They make clothes for all shapes and sizes, so they need models of all shapes and sizes, too!

I would suggest taking some of your favorite outfits and paying to have a professional photographer take pictures of you. Tell them you want to take "commercial" type photographs, and not only will you begin to build photos for your portfolio, but you'll also learn how to work with a photographer to get the best results!

I hope this helps, and good luck! :)

  4. Your really pretty, but grow 3 years older and you'll be even prettier and a star, I would recommend getting into modeling now, because your going to be amazing!

Also, Go on youtube and search sonyafeed, you should be able to find  A BUNCH of videos on how to become a disney channel star!

  5. i think you know the answer to your question. you're young and you have the talent! there's a great advantage in being young. you have all the time to practicepracticepractice until you sharpen your skills. try this site out. it might help you. hollywood-opportunities (dot) com
