Could I possibly babysit for........?

Could I babysit after school for my younger cousin who is nine years old? I am thirteen years old. Her parents won't be back from work when she gets home and both of her older brothers are in after school sports so they won't be home for a while, either. Would it be acceptable for me to babysit her while her older brothers and parents are gone? Also, what are ways I could get more people to babysit after school if I couldn't babysit her? I get good grades, am in 8th grade, am responsible, and have taken a YMCA babysitting course. Do you think anyone would hire me? Thanks so much! Please answer this question!

Consult with your PARENTS first.  Then maybe check with your teachers and other school personnel  and see if they know of anyone that is in need of a child sitter.

I think so.  I know my 8 year old brother had a 12 year old babysitter because I had sports and couldn't come home in time.  I'm sure if you asked your aunt or uncle you could.  

I would also ask your parents to ask their friends with kids to see if you could babysit.  I was surpirsed at how many parents would pay me to watch their kids.
