I had just finished going #2 and lifted up off the toilet slightly to grab some tp when I heard something drop into the toilet. I turned around and peered into the bowl. What I saw was an albino white mucusy glob that looked like snot. Then it unraveled. It was about 3-4 inches at least and covered in cotton like mucus. Does it sound like a tapeworm? I am always tired, even when I wake up. I eat very healthy. Please help me! Thanks!

  2. Well if you eat healthy or alot, and you seem to loose weigh then yes, you most likely have a tapeworm in you.

If i was you i would ask a doctor, and dont worry their are pills that can kill tapeworms every easly

Yes, I would say that you have some kind of parasite(s), but from your description it may not be a tape worm.

    My reason(s) being:

Tape worms are not usually rolled up, but some others are.

Normally, a tape worm will "hang" from the bowel tract, but is seldom seen.

If you loose weight easily, get tired easily, are anemic (symptom = Eg.: White around your "eyes - above lashes") have VERY bad breath  . . . these are just some of the symptoms of parasites.

Some people have some, but not all, of these symptoms.

At any rate, there are simple tests, and I personally (if I had had your experience) would book an appointment with my doctor.

Do not fret, though, if you were capable of writing this on Yahoo Answers, your life is probably not in danger!  :-)

HOWEVER, WAITING WILL DO YOU NO GOOD.

Your experience is a traumatic one, I am sure, but you really do not have to worry too much.  There are medicines that will help, and most of them very quickly.

Things like this are never fun to talk about, but you do not have to tell anyone (except, perhaps your "spouse") if you have one.   Multiple infestation is not uncommon. (Including ones children)

On the other hand, DO NOT HESITATE TO TELL YOUR DOCTOR, he will not be shocked, and you would be surprised to find out how many people actually have at least one parasite in their lives!  Especially those who have traveled internationally.

I have provided a couple of links, below, which I am sure you will find very informative.

  4. There is a very good possibility it could be a tapeworm. Good thing it came out or you would have had some real problems there.

  5. If it is tape worm, even though you passed one out of you.....

you would still have them living in you.... You need to go to the doctors and get it checked out.
