Could I race the crf150r in the 85 class?

I used to hate it and think it was overatted but I think I would like four strokes

You have to race supermini,maybe if you at a little track they may let you race it in the 85 class,but i know for a fact at whitney and other tracks like that you have to race supermini.

um... you never said how old you were. Isnt the 85 class 12-16

I don't think they are allowed to in America and that is a part of the problem with the bike as they were designed to race against the 85cc class and are very competitive against them, excepting when they have to race against the modified classes in America.  Here in Australia they race where they were designed to race against the 85cc and are usually at the front of the pack and also get off the line very well.  

This is also the reason why many people in America have the view that the bike is not that good, when in reality it is a very competitive bike, but honda did not expect for it to not be allowed to race in the section it was designed for.

I think you can run the 85 modified class, but the easiest thing would be to just ask at your local track(s).
