In January I got a 1760. (awful! I KNOW. I just about cried...lol)

CR: 540

Math: 600

Writing: 620

Then In June I got a 1910.

CR: 610

Math: 610

Writing: 690

I improved by 150 points. AND, the only section I actually studied for was writing...which was dumb on my part, because thats the easiest section for me.....I improved a lot on the reading because I was less stressed out and could actually FOCUS. I still made some silly mistakes.....I know I still could have done better on the CR. So if I studied some more (for the CR and Math) could I get a 2100 in your opinion? Or something VERY close to it?

Also, I need help figuring out how to study for the math section.....does anyone have any tips?

PS: I plan on taking my last SAT in October!

PPS: I reaaaaally want to get into UNC or Wake Forest!! (or Davidson, which will probably be my reach school). Do you think I can raise my scores to match their averages? I do have some safe schools though.

  1. Buy as many books,CD tutorials, and maybe even an online site (if it not to expensive) and drill, drill, drill!

  2. good job in CR and writing! to me, those are the hardest! math is the easiest to study for, in my opinion. Don't stress too much on the writing, some colleges don't even look at those scores!

to study for math, take those practice tests. Use the Barrons book (that's the most helpful one for me) to practice.

I think with the studying, you could really get your score up to a 2100!

    good luck

    =D

  3. memorize 10 vocabs everyday

    do lots of reading

do practice questions for math ( math is just about practice)

and writing , your realli goood! only 10 points away from 700 which is realllli impressive. keep it up or even threaten 750 bar line! go for it

    you can do it!

    -goodlucK!
