  1. It's not too late, the earlier the better, if you wanted to do it competitively, you would have wanted to around the time your started school. But if it's something that you would just like to do as a hobby or to supplement cheerleading, any time before about 18 is good.

  2. It is a bit too late.. You can start as a hobby and compete locally, but competing in the Olympics is almost impossible unless you started at the age of 3-5 years old.

  3. I'm not sure... but I think any sport where you have to throw your body weight might need you start doing so at any early age.

  4. Of course! It's never too late to try something new. But don't expect to get to Olympic level in a few years' time. The Olympic gymnasts are flippin' insane; they start super-young!

  5. You could still join a teen class for fun... I wouldn't plan on going to the Olympics or competing or anything. :)  Most people that join when they're your age are trying to learn to tumble for other sports like gymnastics. :)

  6. of course you could!!!! But the thing is that it takes a while to develop the skills and get them down pat!

You would start in a level 1 class with kids that are probably going to be a little younger then you! But it all depends on how fast you can get the skills till you can be moved up!!

most gym places have a tumbling class or a highs school class for the older kids =]]

=] i hope that this helps and good luck

  7. yes! you can, you would just be put into a class with younger children. but once you advance, you would move up to your age group.:D
