Question:

Could I still do A-Level maths even though I only got a 'C' at GCSE?

A 'B' is the minimum requirement but is there any way around it. I'd be prepared to retake GCSE Maths at the same time if it meant I could do it for A-Level.

I'm going to go to my college tomorrow to inquire but I'd like to go there with a plan.

Thanks

  1. i think you need a B. to get into college. retake it and you might be able to get in. it also depends on the college

  2. I had this problem with biology. They said they'd accept me but if they don't think i can hack it  i'll basically have to change subject. :/

  3. If your teachers have evidence through tests and reports

that you are a worthy student of a B or A,

you should appeal by all means.

  4. You can resit your exam in November time, which means you don't have to do another year of GCSE.
