Could I use Muslin cloth for my garden cover idea?

I need to make a cover for the times when I am not using my garden. I was thinking of using MUSLIN cloth?

But I need to cover a wide range. There are 15 plots I need to cover (Approx 1700 square ft)

ideas?

  1. Muslin is a natural fiber, and will rot outside. If these are garden beds, just buy rolls of weed blocking material from any garden center.


  2. You might trying using paint drop cloths. They are wide and much less expensive than purchasing fabric. Try home depot.
