Could I use a fin like this (picture inside) in my mermaid tail?

I'm making a mermaid tail soon, and I was wondering if I could use something like this...

Obviously not that though XD Something bigger. I'm talking about the shape. Do you think it would work?

yeah. just keep ur feet together and cover up the black part to make the whole tail look like one part

looks like it would work... just remember to tie both of your feet together

looks like it will work, it really looks like a mermaid tail if you redecorate and let it get bigger.
