Could I use the spare 12v connector on my computer power supply to power a R/C battery charger?

I have a 7.2v Battery Pack and a car charger with 12v DC input, using clips that go directly to the battery terminals. Could I use the spare 12v connector on the psu to power the charger? The charger has a 6.5 Amp replaceable fuse in it.

  1. no, becasue the current from wall outlet is A/C and u will ruin D/C chargers with A/C current. if u had more details about the aplication and the type of power chord i could help some more if this didn't
