  1. I am a student in Early Childhood Education. When I have worked in preschools there were aides were not majoring in Early Childhood Education.

If you want to teach it is best to go for your degree in Early Childhood Education.

  2. In Australia where I live you can start working in a daycare center from age 16.

  3. You might be able to work as an "aide" but you would probably have to be taking classes in college for early childhood care, psychology and early childhood education .  To be a caregiving in a day care you need degrees in Early child psychology or early childhood education along with CPR and first aid courses and some states require a teaching certificate as well.
