Can Vincent Lecavalier, Marty St louis, and Steve Stamkos, become the best line in the NHL?

  1. I highly doubt they will play together at even strength.  The only time the three will be on the ice together will probably be on power plays.  In addition, I don't see Stamkos being better than Brad Richards, so what does that tell you???


  2. Who says they will all play together> Maybe Stamkos will be on line 2 to balance out the scoring.

  3. yes... but, unfortunately, every time that line is on the ice, the defense of the opposition will work hard to shut them down, rendering them mostly ineffective.

    then you have to rely on the second lines...

    and tampa bay has... none.

    if tampa bay was smart, they would break up lecavalier and st. louis and use them to build 2 strong lines.

  4. They won't be as great as Datsyuk, Holmstrom and Zetterberg or Heatley, Spezza and Alfredsson, but if they play together, of course it would be a great line, but not THE best.
