Could Marta (from Brazil) play in Major League Soccer in the US?

It sure seems she's good enough to make a roster, but would she be good enough to make an impact on the team? There was a rumor about a year ago of her coming to play for LA Galaxy but apparently that never went anywhere.

  3. id say shes better than all the players besides beckham on la galaxy so id be a waste of her talent to go to MLS. She's better than 95% of those Most Lame Soccer players

  4. no but she will play in the women's league that kicks off in 2009. her agent has been in contact an pretty much every city has big contracts for her.

    same with all the other exciting brazilian women.
