  1. I believe Foster is the 2nd greatest light heavyweight champion of all time.  He was a good boxer, had great power in either hand and had a l;ot of leverage on his punches.  Johnson is a good fighter and a very aggressive one and this would play right into Foster's hands.  Foster would catch him coming in in about the 6th round and knock him out.


  2. IMO, no. Bob Foster at 6'3" was an oddity for the Lt. Heavyweight division. He could jab well and had dynamite in either fist. Could box well and handled most, other than heavyweights, with ease. I'd take Foster every time.
