What about this scenario?? The Clintons talking lately positive about John McCain. Everyone knows they have an agenda. Could it be if Obama wins the nomination of the DEMS that McCain will choose Hillary to be the VP? Think about it.

  1. Why think about it when it isn't going to happen.

  2. It is possible, but Hillary has an enormous pride so she probably won't take it

  3. He could but why would he? Don't you think he's smart enough to know that if she is just HIS heartbeat away from the presidency that she very likely would wake up president one morning and he wouldn't be there to see it?

  4. That would make perfect sense, if you look at Mc Cains political leanings the past 800 years he has been in the senate.

  5. He could but he won't. The only time we had a President of one party and a Vice President of another was after the election of 1864.

  6. That is very unlikely b/c nominating procedure inhibits such a scenario. Who decides the running mate isn't McCain, it's the delegates at the Republican National Convention this Summer in St Paul, Minnesota. They will chose and it's unlikely they'd choose a member of the opposite party.

BUT it's not impossible. If during a close Obama v McCain election neither has the magic 270 electoral college votes to secure the presidency, then the House chooses the President and the Senate chooses the VP separately aka they could choose Hillary.

  7. No.  He could, theoretically, express a preference for her on the ticket, but there's no way the Republican National Convention would nominate her as Vice President.

  8. only if he wants his Vice President to be much smarter than he is

  9. I am from Michigan, I will vote Republican if the Michigan delegates are split 50/50 between Obama and Clinton just the way Obama wants it. Michigan spoke and so did Florida, they want Hillary and that should be honored. I am all for a re-run but making my vote irrelevant will not fly. Thats the reason Michigan and Florida should go republican or just stay home and hope for a Mcain Presidency.

  10. Highly unlikely as they are at different poles of political thought.

  11. Yes he could, but that is not very likely to happen.

  12. if he doesn't want to get elected sure but what dumb*** would do that?
