Could My Girlfriend Still Be Pregnant if Her Pregnancy Test Was Negative?

Ok, my girl had a baby once before and took several pregnancy tests before she knew she was pregnant. They all said negative, yet she was obviously pregnant.

Now she is having similar symptoms as in her last pregnancy such as sensitive b*****s, and a hard/achy stomach. She only bled for two days on her last period, so we decided to take two pregnancy tests. And they were both negative.

Is it possible that she is still pregnant?

With her period, then no.  She could of had a miscarriage or she wasn't pregnant. I would go to the doctors just incase for a blood test incase, but besides that no.

Yes, have her go visit her OB for a blood test to make sure. It could be too early to tell, so you can also wait an extra week to test, but a blood test can tell you for sure.

False negatives are common... false positives are not.

She might want to take more pregnancy tests. My cousin took a few and they all said negative. She ended up having a baby when she didn't know she was pregnant. So there may a possibility she is pregnant. You might also want to take her to the docter.

yes it is! her light period was probably implantation bleeding. and some people wont get a positive unless its a blood test or maybe its too early to detect the hormone. but she do sound pregnant....good luck.

Yes, false negatives are common, many women have low hormone leves at first that the tests don't pick up.
