Could Rogue Waves Be The Cause of Ships and airplanes disappearing in the Bermuda Triangle?

They have been documented and can take out huge oil rigs in the sea. They seemly just come out of no-where and have been documented at reaching over 100 feet, so could this be an explantion to the mystery of the Bermuda Triangle?

I have followed the mysteries of the triangle and the main thing is WHO.. exactly says the planes and people are missing. Bermuda wasnt the best of a military or policing network. it was a backward lazy island for a long time. name the names of the people who are missing and ask their families if they ever returned.

Having been to the triangle many times.Seeing only other pleasure craft and commercial traffic.With none of it disappearing.I'm thinking no.Ships and planes disappear at the same rate there as any other spot.The fishing and diving there must be superior though.There is plenty of that.I think this place has a bad and undeserved rap.How many ships and rigs have been taken out by rogue waves?I'm asking because I spend quite a bit of time on the Atlantic.

I would think it may be the cause of some of the ship sinkings however I doubt one would reach the heights that planes are flying at.

That could be happening from what I've read about rogue waves, though rogue waves are supposed to be rather rare and I don't really think that ships disappear at a rate much different in the Bermuda Triangle than in other places.
