Would there be a difference if he stayed with Michelin?

Do you think Michelin is doing better then Bridgestone this year?

We'll never know, although I think both Michelin and Brigestone are doing good this year. Watching those races that have passed, there wasn't a big difference in the tyres. Michelin was there, where Brigestone was.

What Rossi did is called "a change". And he needed one. 2007 was bad enough, why not try something else that might as well help you win?

For me Brigestone and Michelin at the moment are equal. It's up to the riders and their bikes...

The Difference may not be as big this season but the facts remain the same. The bridgestone Tyre is consistent all the way through the race. Its definitely the better wet tyre.

The Michelin Qualifier's are still better than Bridgestone. But their Race tyre takes longer to heat up (giving the advantage to Bridgstone in the first few laps) Then the Michelin seems to drop of (grip Level) mid way through the race. Giving more of an advantage to the Bridgestones. The Michelin is a better Tyre at the end of the race, but its usually too late by then.

Rossi's main complaint was the time it took his tyres to get up to temperature. I think he made the right choice to go to Bridgestone and the results seem to confirm his decision was right.  It would have been better to see some close racing with Lorenzo to really judge the difference.  and it could be said its the tyres that contributed to Lorenzo's accidents. something has made the difference to Rossi. the tyres are a good starting point.

Michelin have upped there game this year, this is true. Losing the Blue Ribbon Class title was very very bad for them.

Rossi could have stayed, but he thought he needed the change to give him extra performance.

How would he have done on Michelin's ? Who knows, Lorenzo is a rookie so we cant use his times.

Yeah I think he bailed to soon. It wasn't like Bridgestone was covering the podium. They have a great package with Stoner and the Duc.
