He almost 75 years old but he seems to be in great shape and I can see him in uniform today in the front court with Kevin Garnett. He could definitely pull down some rebounds for them. What do you think?

  1. Maybe only on PS3 !!

  2. No way. Maybe 20 years ago, because age doesn't effect defensive skills much. But now, he's just too old.

  3. He wouldnt have a chance! A lot of other things go into being a professional athlete besides being in shape.

  4. All due respect to Mr. Russell Dwight Howard would break him in half.

  5. So I guess he'd have to fight for minutes against Patrick, Davis, and Perkins. lol. Then Mutumbo wouldn't be the oldest player in the NBA.

  6. no. he probably can't even dunk anymore, let alone get a rebound over an average center. plus, all his bones would break

  7. 75 is 75.  No way on earth could he play for Boston or any other NBA team at that age.

If he couldn't play any more at age 50, how much better could he be possibly be at 75?  Being in good shape for a 75-year-old is so far off from being in NBA shape it's like comparing the smell of a great steak dinner to the smell of the bowel movement that occurs a couple of hours after eating....LOL.  No comparison.

  8. He can't even win in a game of horse and you think he can play still lol...............

  9. what? they should bring in parish and bird back too.  parish and russell would own the glass.

  10. No he cannot play with the Young Studs....hahahahah you are hilarious...You must really want to see him come back. That would be great...but if Jordan couldn't hang the last time he came with the Wizards..he was 40 something...which is almost half of Russells current age...what makes you think Russell can. He might look great...but you dont know what kind of Joint and muscle strength he truly has. No way cannot play...a minute. Maybee someday we will see all of them play in their primes and truly see who the True players of their positions are....but I dont think that will happen... Only God can do something like that. Fantasy stuff....Last time I checked I wanted to fly up into the sky but still cannot do that...so no Russell Cannot Play. He was probably the Greatest at his position and the Greatest Champion...what is it 9 or 11 rings....cant remember.

  11. Guy is old. He can't do the things he cud do when he was young. Srry, man.

  12. no. he is way to old.

  13. Ehh . . .  No. That's way too much. At age 40+ though, he was still capable of stifling the Seattle SuperSonics offense during his stint as coach for the team. A year later after vacating the coaching job, this same Seattle roster would be coached by Lenny Wilkens to the championship.

  14. Sure, nobody said he had to play every game.

I could see him as the inactive player on their roster if there was nobody else that fit the spot. He might play 7 minutes for like a few games.
