Safin seems on the right track and still has the talent, if he doesnt destroy himself I would love to him destroy Djokovic, what do you think?

  1. oh boy oh boy.....look what safi  has done to  some of  us here...seriously guys  when it  comes to sport and in life generally  noone has  any real clue.    only educated guesses..

what were safins odds to win wimb b4 the  match.......??anyone..?

  2. I don't think Safin can beat novak djokovic. he's obviously third in the world for his ability to return majority of shots that come his way. Safin would get pissed off if he missed easy shots against djokovic

  3. He just did! Safin has just beaten Djokovic in the 2nd round in straight sets! 6--4, 7-6(7-3), 6-2 was the score.

  4. More chance of you beating Djokovic actually...Marit was (when fit and mentally switched on) quite formidable but come on seriously........sorry.

    No chance whatsoever.

  5. Of course Safin has the talent. He's proven that. He just gets very upset and can't bring out his confidence. I'd LOVE to see him destroy Djokovic, but then again, that would require so much from him. Safin doesn't have the confidence to do it. Djokovic will definently beat him, and I don't even think the match will be that interesting. Safin has just lost it, but in 2005 playing Djokovic, I think that Safin will win with no question.

  6. no

  7. Safin has the talent to beat anybody on any given day.  Unfortunately, he can also lose to anybody, and lately usually does.  And grass is his worst surface.  I think Djokovic will win, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's a pretty close match for a couple sets.

  8. Safin has so much talent and such a great game. It is such a shame that he never wanted "it" enough to put everything else aside and do "the work" that top 3 players need to do. Safin could have been a terrific champion but I think it is getting too late in the game for him. He is a bit older and it requires so much more discipline & hard work to beat younger top players. If Safin didn't have that focus when he was younger I don't believe it is all of a sudden going to come to him especially with his temperament and penchant for partying. Unfortunately, I think his chances against Djokovic are slim.  OMG !!! Marat WON !!!!
