Could Someone Send Me Money from their bank account and I can pick it up from the bank?

like western union. This person says he is banned from western union and moneygram (dont know why). could he send me the money from his bank account and could I pick it up from the bank.

his bank account is bank of america.

Yes someone can.  But if you do not know this persoon DO NOT DO IT.  I've never heard of anyone who has been banned from Western Union (it just does not happen).  Wester Union is just a service, you give them $$ and they send it to another branch.

What he will do is send you what appears to be a bankers draft, will even appear certified.  But the amount will be for more than you expected.  He will say he is sorry it was a mix up at the bank and ask you to send back the difference.

In about 1 week your bank will call you and say there is a problem with the Bank draft.  It was phony and they are taking the $$ out of your accont.

This is a scam. Don't get caught. It is happening a lot right

now especially with people on ebay. Someone buys something on ebay and sends a cheque to the seller for

more money than the item is worth. They tell them oh just

send me the item and your cheque for the balance. So the

seller does this. By the time the first cheque is bounced back as no funds the sellers check has cleared and he is out the cash and the item. I have never heard of anyone being

banned from Western Union!

Its probably a scam, don't do it.

Typical scams go something like this,

He will send you money in one form or another ( cashiers check, money order etc), and ask you to send money to cover the cost of something.

So after you send him money, he takes it and disappears.

Then your bank says his check etc bounced, and you now owe them the money.   He sent bad money, you sent good money, etc.

What ever you do,  dont send him any money.   His money is bad, and yours is good.  Wait 2 weeks for his money to clear.

Dont send him money.

For your original question about sending money from account to account, I am not familiar with how that would work.

You can pay your bills from someone elses bank account, by adding the information with your bill company online. But dont know how to reverse it, unless it is a joint account.
