OK Season This Year. [41-41]

But With Oden, Rudy Fernandez, Jerryd Bayless, and Nicolas Batum Coming In, I Think They Could Run THe League For Years To Come.

What Do You Think???

  1. well it certainly looks that way on paper IFF oden can live up to his hype, but then again we all know that paper teams mean nothing because anything can happen. IFF everyone stays healthy then they should be a force to be wreckoned with.

  2. I wouldn't count my chickens before they hatch. Lots of things could change.

  3. I agree

  4. I have to agree that you have to consider whether or not they are contenders before you can even consider them a dynasty.  I like the new Blazers squad as much as anyone else, but let's not jump the boat here, they have stiff competition to deal with, including the Lakers, Jazz, and Hornets who are also young and improving at a faster clip with a lot more playoff experience, this also is not counting if any team makes some major improvement or discover some rare hidden talent.  It's possible, but it's somewhat premature to be even considering it right now.

  5. lets slow down a little bit here.  1st to even say the word Dynasty, u have to win at least or championship and to do that u have to make the PLAYOFFS!!!!!!!  That word and Blazers should not go together until they have at leat 4 rings.

  6. The salary cap will hit the Blazers in the future and it's sad to say this, specially coming from a fan. But if the players develop alright and they stay together for at least 5 years, yeah, we can one a couple of titles. Just don't see a dinasty, because it's almost impossible to keep a team together for a long time, specially with all the talent (Oden, Aldrigde, Roy, Fernandez, Bayless, Webster, Outlaw) and well, someday these players will want max money and then.. bye-bye dinasty

  7. anything could happen, but i would bet my money on them making it to the conference finals in the next 4 or 5 years,

If they were in the east tho, i would say give them 2 to 3 yrs max, just because the talent is less there. but to be honest, a couple of hrs ago i was watching some highlights of Rudy Fernandez. and the guy is sick, go check it out.

  8. They absolutely could.  Ever since they put up that big winning streak last season after A) giving up their best player and B) with their lottery pick injured for the season, people started realizing that this team isn't that bad.  And they've improved even more this offseason.  At the very least, I see them being a conference powerhouse for some years, similar to the Jazz in the 90s.

  9. they could be, but with the cap space i dont know if they would be able to hold on to this team later on.  if theses guys become all star caliber players, theyre going to want the money since theyre young and would start looking to get a secure long big contract.

  10. wow slow down. they still got a long way to go.

  11. not when the lakers are in town

  12. Not in today's NBA!

  13. in your dreams

only if clyde came out of retirement
