  1. Quite frankly your question blew my mind. I think we all have an inclination to say well of course not, but then what would there have been before the big bang? Much greater minds than mine have tried and failed to explain it.

    I'd suggest you follow the research being down with the Large Hadron Collider if you're not already. It's an 8 billion dollar project in France where hopefully we'll get some evidence about the beginning of time (If indeed there is a beginning).

  3. There could be, but all the evidence is that there wasn't. The current theory is that time, matter, energy and space all started 13.7 billion years ago.
