Could Water Sensor cause 1996 dodge neon to not get fire (we are getting engine code22 & 12)?

Question

We are getting the two codes 12 & 22. we have since changed cam sensor, crank sensor & coil, but cannot get it to fire. Does anyone have any suggestions besides taking it into the shop. The plug to the coil has fire in the middle wire, but no fire with new coil. Please help.

Here are the actual meanings for those two codes:

P0012 A Camshaft Position - Timing Over-Retarded (Bank 1)

P0022 A Camshaft Position - Timing Over-Retarded (Bank 2)

Basically from those two codes I would say that your timing is off. Make sure you didn't get a defective cam sensor and that you installed it properly.
