  1. Waterboarding, yes. Throwing into a valley with many sharp rocks at the bottom, yes. But not spanking.

  2. I'd prefer not to think of spanking the monkey.  It makes me nauseous.

  3. ive always wanted to spank a monkey...but i never had one to spank..

i think spanking that monkey would make me very happy.

  4. Methinks the monkey would enjoy it. ;)

I left a comment with my old username under your suggestion, Jim.

  5. I like the idea of true member accounts....keep track of everyone.

  6. No, what if there are ligitimate reasons to report?

  7. that is way cool, jim.

i'd go for that, spanking or no.

  8. I'd rather shock the monkey.

About the article, it is a good step towards getting rid of the report button. They should also keep everybodies email account private to people that aren't on your contact list.

  9. They could just create another account, right? The regulations are not well enforced here on Y!A. It is possible for one person to have an infinite number of accounts. For users who have high level accounts I think that this might work but for trolls...no.

  10. In regards to that link, who is it that determines what report is a "strike" and what report isn't?  Yahoo Answers?  And are they going to keep doing the fantastic job they've been doing so far?!

Not to throw a, er, monkey wrench in the works here...  :P

(I like Rio's waterboarding idea... That could work...)

  11. I voted, but I'm not sure how easy it'd be to enforce; it's likely a lot of people who report have multiple accounts anyway.

And I'd much prefer to receive a spanking.... :D

  12. The monkey would enjoy it way too much.  Send the monkey to bed with no dinner and make him(her?) write "I'm sorry for being a report monkey" eight bazillion times.

  13. Restricting his bananas just might get more of a point across.
