Could Yankees have a better chance on making the playoffs..?

If they beat Boston tonite, if rain wont stop them

If so, Wild Card or they'll beat out the new and improved Rays?

If they beat out the Rays, will THEY make the playoffs?

I can tell you don't know much about baseball.

The Rays will fold and Boston and NY will take the division and wild card. The Cubs will not win the NL central, and you must be crazy if you think the A's  will finish better than the Angels.

Well, the rays arent going to be in the picture, their too young and too in experienced in the post season so i see the yankees winning the division and the red sox being a wild card.

I don't think they ever didn't have a chance. I think it's only a matter of time until the Rays drop to third, they'll always be contenders, but always remain a couple of games back. The Yankees and the Red Sox will, per usual, battle it out until the last series in September.

Which the Yankees will take, of course, and go on to win the East. But I do see the Sox getting the Wild Card.
