  1. Hylands Teething Tablets are a God send!

  2. It's very rare, but possible. My daughter started doing that about that age. Her tooth came in at 4 months. Does she stare at your food and try to get it. She might be ready for cereal. Milk may not be enough anymore. I think it is suggested anywhere between 4-6 months when they can hold up their head on their own, stare and grab for your food. My daughter was a big girl (in the 98% for weight) and needed the cereal a little earlier then most. Good luck.

  3. Yes it's possible but you probably won't see any teeth pop through for months.  It's a monthly process before they start actually coming through the gum line.

  4. a baby can cut teeth from 2 months on so it is possible that he is teething. Early teething runs in the family so if you or the father cut teeth early, your baby probably will too. He cant hold a teething toy but you can use a very clean wash cloth, wet it, tie it in a knot and chill it in the refrigerator (it may be easier to hold). Also, cut your nails very short, wash you hands, and just rub his gums with your fingers. Counter pressure can reduce the pain. Good luck.

  5. it could be teething but he might not feeling well.consult your doctor

  6. he absolutely can!  my cousin's daughter cut her first teeth around 3.5 to 4 months.  She's 16 months and working on her TWELTH tooth!  it was crazy seeing a baby that young w/ teeth!

  7. My daughter started at 4 months though her teeth didn't finally cut until 8 months.

  8. YEAH my son cut his first tooth at 3 months

  9. Yes its possible. my son started teething at 2 1/2 months old, and has his first two teeth by the time he was 3 1/2 months old.

The average baby cuts their first tooth anywhere between five and six months old. There are some however that will cut a tooth as early as two months, or as late as a year. Occasionally, some babies will only have two-four teeth until several months after their first birthday. There is not any rule as to when your baby should sprout teeth. Just like most other milestones, it is different in all babies.

There are many signs of teething in a baby. Your baby might become incredibly fussy and cry more all of a sudden. When it is teething related then the normal things that work on your baby like feeding, changing, bathing, and playing with him, will not work.

The excess production of drool is a telltale sign of teething. When you are getting soaked just holding your baby because they are slobbering so much, it is a good sign that teeth are coming in the next few months. It isn’t necessarily a sign that they are coming soon though. A baby could start drooling during their second month of life, but not actually have any teeth pop up till they are nine months old. When your baby starts drooling, be sure to keep a rag or towel near-by to dry you both off with.

Another sign that your baby is teething could be them pulling on their ears. Since the “ear, nose and throat” are all connected, teething can cause ear aches in babies, which can lead to crying and fussiness. Other signs of teething include:

Swelling around the gums where tooth is about to break through

Redness in creases around neck from the excess drool getting stuck

    Irritability

    Restlessness/Sleeplessness

    Sucking thumb/fingers

    Fussy feedings

There are things that can be done to help your baby feel a little more comfort however. Baby companies market heavily to parents when it comes to teething time. There are all sorts of toys that have chewable rubber pieces on them designs to let the baby gnaw at will. Some of the bigger toys like walkers and exersaucers also have attached toys with rubber ends for chewing.

There are teething rings that are either filled with water, or can be filled with water and stuck in the freezer for you to take out as needed. These are great to chew on for baby because they are cold and get soft as they thaw out. If you don’t have a lot of extra money to spend on chew toys, you can wet a wash cloth and stick it in the freezer. It is a soft, reusable and inexpensive way to help your baby with his teething pain.

There are also medications you should speak to your pediatrician about. There are gels that are created that are supposed to help numb the gums. There are specific formulas of these for both day and nighttime. Some pediatricians will also recommend giving your baby over the counter pain medicines. (like baby oragel)

  10. it is prob. that his teeth are dropping into his jawline. try wetting a wash cloth and freezing it. walmart carries teething tablets, they are like $2 and they disolve almost instantly. you could even put them in his bottle so you dont have to worry. they work better than origel and thay are all natural. and then tylenol whenever he gets fussy. 0.4 ml should be good but call your doc just to be safe.

  11. My son is 3 1/2 months and I also thought he was teething as he's dribbling loads and chewing on his hands all the time.

Although I can't feel any teeth I realise that they are obviously already there and I know that they can move about before they actually break through the gum so that's what I am assuming is happening.

  12. Teething can start that early, but it's rare that the teeth actually come in.  It can be months before they get their first teeth.  Some days it will bother him and some days it won't.  You can rub orajel on his gums (the bottom front teeth are usually the first to come in).  You can give him Hylands All Natural Teething Tablets (you can find them in natural food stores), or Tylenol for when he's really fussy.  Or cool teething toys to chew on.

Teething can be awful, I hope he feels better soon!

  13. doubt it but anything's possible.  I thought mine was at that age too but didn't cut first too till 9 months

  14. Yes he could be, although it could take months for teeth to pop through.  A baby in my mommy and me class got his first teeth at 2 months old.  It's rare but happens.

If he's got his hands in his mouth and drooling lots, that's also a developmental thing.  My daughter use to have chapped hands because she sucked on her hands so much, but it was just because she found her hands and wow did they ever taste good!

    Good luck!

  15. Yes. My pediatrician told me as early as three months. Try giving him humphreys'

  16. yes... my baby started teething 2 and half month ago and still no teeth

  17. Yes!~ they start at any age....babies follow in their mothers footsteps in the teething/dental area.....ask your mother what age you started to cut teeth and go from there if it wasn't till 6 months the baby most likely is just a colic baby.....possibly doesn't want the bottle cause he may be use to one nipple try switching out the nipples some babies do better than others on different nipples than you used on your 1st child or then the ones you got at your baby shower.....so ask mom when you started to or when you cut your 1st teeth and go from there....and don't worry babies will eat when they are hungry.
