Could a Adopt a Cub?

Question

I really want a black bear cub theyre endangered but could i maybe get a lion cub or a cougar cub? Im not sure if its illegal. what other animals could i get?

It is illegal and you should not adopt one.

How would you feel if someone adopted you against your wishes?

Animals don't need to be adopted unless they are needed to. Having them just for fun is not a good idea.

However you can try for those animals which are legal to keep & are not endangered.

Depends on the state you live in.  In Oregon you can have one but not one taken from the wild and you have to have a permit and a qualifying enclosure.  Black bears are not endangered but I would encourage you to think of the quality of life you would offer the bear.  They are certainly interesting and awesome creatures, but I can't think it would be right to have one in captivity.  While it might give you pleasure it would be cruel to do to the bear.

If you really want to help an animal in need why not have a rescue dog or cat.  They have often had a hard life and just want a loving home.  They are also common pets and relatively easy to find out how to care for them.  

They will also repay you with affection and not eating your hand/face/other extremities.

I have rescue lurchers and they are the BEST!

you have to have a special license

and it's going to very hard to keep up with when they get older i wouldn't recommend getting one

i know that monkeys you can in fact get easier

but they can be vicious and your not suppose to have monkey a unless you have nooo other animals at your house!
