  1. No. I know a lady who has broken her tailbone 4 times and has never shown any signs of paralysis.

  3. a dood playing lacrosse with me in H.S. fell back and landed on a lacrosse ball, and broke the tail bone. so yeah, he was out as far as getting up, and had to be helped up and brought over to the hospital. No he wasn't paralyzed and it took about 3 months for him to get back on his feet and going again. he was however immobilized because of the pain.

    My physical therapist is trying to manipulate it back in place.  I experienced numbness, no feeling.  It is because of the extensive inflammation in the areas next to the spinal cord.
