Could a Chinese young man study abroad in UCLA(University of California)?

I just want to study directing and make my skill get discovered in hollywood,you think there is a way out there?

It is very hard for a Chinese person to get a student visa. Contact the Foreign Student Office at UCLA. Also be aware that at UCLA there is so government aid for foreign students. It will cost you about $40,000 a year to go to school there, if you can get a student visa.

And if when you apply for the visa, if you say you intend to stay in the USA afterwards and you are not studying to be an engineer or scientist, chances are they will refuse to grant you a visa. Also be aware that perhaps one in fifty UCLA film school graduates actually makes it in Hollywood.
