It could chances are better now then ever it won't.In the past it seemed to happen much more.I think better regulations and equipment have helped a lot.At least we got that from Exxon Valdez.The Oil companies are loath to generate that type of publicity.Profit is a great motivator.

Sure, history has proven repeatedly that in can happen, but it is almost always with a ship and not an  oil rig.
