I think we all know that the best martial artist of all time that is famous among us is Bruce Lee. We also know that the best fighter/ boxer is Muhammad Ali (although some people might disagree). But i talked with this dude who wants to be a bodybuilders and i at the time I didn't know what that was so I did my research and i made it a little goal to someday beat a huge dude (potentially) a bodybuilder in a fight someday> (It may sound stupid but that would be cool) So are bodybuilders powerfull.

P.S. Remember when Spiderman whooped this huge dudes *** before he was necessarily a good guy?

LOL who would have know a skinny dude like him(compare to his opponet) could do that/

  1. i wouldn't use spider man as an example of how to live your life, it's a freaking comic man.

if you mastered a martial art and found a body builder who had zero experience in any martial art, id say go for it.

  2. Most weight lifters have the wrong type of muscle to be a good fighter.

You actually have two types of muscle on your skeleton.

    Slow twitch and fast twitch.

A weight lifter has to have his muscles fibres all fire together to lift a weight but they do not have to be fast.

A boxer has to be strong, but not as strong.

A boxer has to be very fast instead.

The other thing a fighter needs is cardio-vascular endurance.

It is a shock to most people when they find out how much running a boxer does.

I bet between running and skipping rope a boxer is doing over 30 miles a day.

Then you have the actual training in how to hit, and in how not to get hit.

    Remember:

Not only did Ali sting like a "B", he danced around his opponents like a freaking floating fluttering butterfly.

He was very hard to close and hit.

  3. Well, unless they've trained for years in martial arts then they're going to be very slow, but they'll be very powerful. Superior technique is how I win fights. That way power and speed don't mean anything. I fight the way of the shinobi.

  4. If you are both Bodybuilder and Martial Artist you could be pretty strong but Bodybuilders have to much Muscles or you can say extra weight which would make them slower

But a Martial Artist that does Strength training would be powerful

  5. Dude, that is a stupid question.

Perhaps you should focus on being the best you can be as opposed to being able to beat up a bodybuilder. If your sense of self value revolves around beating a huge dude in a fight, seek mental therapy.

But if you insist on fighting a huge dude, let him kick you in the nuts first.

  6. I personally believe that ANYONE can be beaten. Refer to UFC1.  Sumo wrestler gets beaten by a guy he outweighed by at leas 150 pounds. I also think it is a bad idea to have a goal to beat a "Huge Dude" I recently started Brazilian JuJitsu and there are a few huge dudes in there also. The look like the run of the mill big muscular guys, but they are trained big guys. You never know what you are getting into when you start a fight with a big guy just to prove a point. Now if you could get too the point where you can set up a fight and you aren't trying to kill each other. I know it won't be a sanctioned fight, but it is better than picking a street fight. Most of the guys you find for this would probably be in a dojo or boxing gym and they would be trained also. It is possible for you to beat them, but it is possible for them to do damage to you too. That is the reason for weight classes. Good luck on your training and I hope you can set up your fight in a smart way and not just walk around looking for it. After all, big guys can use knives, guns, brass knuckles etc. also.
