What would happen on a country-wide scale if there was a shortage of food or energy to produce the food, or the sustainability to grow food. I'm from Iowa and I've heard a lot of farmers having a very late growing season. Amonst growing energy prices (look at Diesel fuel for truckers) $4.50 a gallon. Our Government doesn't want us to know that we are in a food crises. It could be soon, but imagine the devasation from riots in major cities if people realized there isn't enough food to sustain the population. Look at the major cities on the East and West coast away from where our agriculture system is. What happens when a city of 6 to 10 million people don't have food coming to them. What happens when hundreds of cities accross the U.S. have no place to go to get food? How do people get anywhere without being able to put fuel in their car if gas stations are not getting supplied?
