how come its sooo bad when mothers disown there children but fathers do it all the time every day. and no one seems to blink an eye. i have 3 children but i gave up one for adoption. i feel i have disowned her but i am here for her when she is old enough and wants to contact me. There are so many reasons why mothers disown there children its not in the female to do it, but you can get mothers who are physically there with there kids but disown them by not bringing them up correctly,IE; abused,neglected.but i bet there's only a handful of reasons why guys disown there own kids!!!!

maybe a mother hates his child for treating bad , or doing something wrong , but she never wishes her child get hurt or anything !

there's a story in islam religion , about mother

long time ago , during our prophet mohamad , there was a mother and her son , son treated his mom terribly during his life , so the mother was very upset of him , and didn't want to see her son anymore ,

time came , and her son was very sick , he was nearly dying ,

people asked his mom to forgive him , but the mother said i wont forgive him , he'been hurting me all these times , i can't !

prophet mohammad heard this news , and visited the mother , told her i know how he treated with you , but if you don't forgive him , he'll go to the h**l , nothing could change mother's opinion !

so prophet ordered to collect some woods and make a great fire ,  infront of the mother , they did

then said , bring the boy and throw him to the fire , they brought her son ! when the mother saw his son , she cried and said please don't hurt him , prophet said , if you don't forgive him , after he died they will do the same thing to him

so the mother said  , ok , i'll forgive him , just don't hurt him !!!

that's how mother feels about their child

I know I could never disown my child - but it does happen to other people and I dont know why. i dont know how a mother could chose to abandon her child? i think its awful. but yes it does happen.

i think sometimes mother disowned their child they dont realise their mistakes but sometime children also do mistakes so mother disowned them.

It's happened. It's despicable when it happens, but it does happen, from time to time. Only times that it has happened that I've ever heard of, though, is because the mother is an alcohol or drug abuser, or simply a horrible parent, who isn't mature enough to have kids.
