Could a opk tell if i am pregnant?

I took a opk starting Aug 6 and today is Aug 9. each time i take a test at the same time every morning it shows that I'm ovulating. But the last time i took a opk it only showed that i was ovulating for 2 days and this time 4 test sticks has showed the same dark lin. Could a opk tell me if i am preg? I never had this happen before with a opk and yes i am trying to have a baby.

If you're currently in your fertile window of the month, and you're normally regular, then I reckon you're probably simply getting a longer surge this month than you did last month. It's absolutely possible to get a +OPK if you're pregnant because the sticks react to hCG in the same way that they react to LH. But if the timing seems wrong for that and you recently (2 weeks ago) had a normal period, then I think what happened was this: you did the first OPK right at the start of the LH surge, and also happened to catch the very end of the surge. It's normal. I've had 5 days of LH surge before. If you're worried, do an HPT which will be more conclusive. Good luck!

No,an ovulation test cant detect pregnancy....because pregnancy test measures a hormone called HCG and ovulation looks for LH....you can be fertile up to for days...so just BD(baby dance)s*x and have fun. a few tips...try not to urine after you and husband have s*x,try and go stright to bed so its better to do it at night.afther s*x elevate your hips with a pillow or hold ur legs up for about 15 min,try to catch your o****m after ur husband because "they"say it gets the sperm up there....an easier way to get the sperm closer to t he cervix is instead soft cups...you can purchase them online  as well as in stores...good luck..if you want to test early wait 10 days after ovulation use first response and use ur first morning urine...p.s try and take prenatal vitamins as well its good when tring to conceive

yes, an opk will show positive if you are pregnant, but it usually will not show positive until well after an hpt would pick it up so it would be more accurate just to buy an hpt.
