Could a person traveling back in time wager correctly on sporting events, or is there just to many variables

would all events needed for a player make a basket and block a kick happen the same each time a time traveler observed them.

ahh so many possibilities.

If you go by back to the future.. then you could. As long as you dont DO anything else to alter time then it should happen accordingly.

But if you've ever seen stephen kings the langoliers then it states that the past is just thing.. there are no people or things or time. Its just an item in space that waits to be erased.

I can see it being done, and I'm sure in the scheme of things you will alter many events within people's lives. You get rich, you lose friends hanging with the different crowd, growing up in another neighborhood, you gain new friends, habits, attitude, ect. I can see a few factors playing a role in your being and maybe those around you...
