  1. it is generally accepted that quantum entanglement cannot result in faster than light information transfer. It is complicated, but the entanglement effect is simply to change one random state to another; that is, one would have to know the state of the other (by a conventional means) to get any information from the 'entanglement' related change.

    which is to say that it seems unlikely that faster than light information transfer is possible, and that, after all is the these of Special Relativity, not whether faster than light events can occur.
