An f5 tornado with winds over 300 mph? Keep in mind the Abrams weighs 69 tons. However it has a alot of flat sides that would be taking the wind head on.....would the tank be pushed around at all?

My opinion is that the twister would push it a little bit (f4 tornado +) but couldnt lift it high enough to cause real damage.

Also, I would imagine debris wouldn't be a problem at all because of the armor

  1. The only problem would be the sudden depressurization. I dont think a tank has the aerodynamic drag/weight ratio to be picked up by  a tornado of any kind. Boulders dont get picked up.

  2. h**l yeah! That is like 300 billion times faster than an average car on the freeway! THAT'S STRONG!

  3. An F5 tornado can toss a freight train off it`s tracks. Unless something is anchored into the ground with concrete and steel, not much can withstand 300 mph winds.
