I am just curious if some of you think that with modern security and technology, a heist that involved hijacking a plane, extorting money and skydiving out of the plane could be done in the modern age. If yes, how would you get around modern obstacles? like the fact that newer aircraft do not have rear doors, increased airline security since 9/11, the fact that nearly any modern airline passengers would tackle and beat down a person who threatened to blow up a plane.. etc. If no I'd like to know what you think would be the biggest obstacle that would prevent it.

  1. I don't think so, since security has improved, also somebody has done it before so they know your motive and the cops have better technology so it would easier to catch you.

  2. dunno

  3. HIGHLY unlikely; the modern security and technology can be used against you as well. The biggest obstacle is the belief you could get away with it to begin with. DB Cooper was an a*****e.

  4. i dont think it could be redone successfully.  i think a copy cat heist would just turn into a fiasco
