Could a tiger survive in the wilderness of canada?

just a theory but , if tigers were released into northern canada which has a very smiler environment to northern russia could tigers survive?

just a thought but with siberian tigers being so endangered could putting them in a safe country that russia where there are more poachers than in canada where they could be better protected ?

  2. yes it can survive anywhere with snow and a lot of prey . as you say russian have many poachers so i think canada is better choice

  3. Probably, with the right conditions and food supplies. It would be devastate the animals food chain, however, since the tiger would not have any natural enemies. They would put the deers, elk, and moose in danger. However, a breeding program can be adopted for zoos.

  4. Amur (Siberian) Tigers could survive in Canada because the environment is similar and there is plenty of food for them - elk and deer.  

    The problem is that there are more people living in the remote areas of Canada than in the remote areas of Russia.  

    Relocating Tigers to Canada would not be feasible because of safety concerns for humans.
