  1. Isn't ozone a "tri-atomic" form of oxygen?  (o3)???  I don't see how a tornado could produce any of this.

  4. Tornadoes are caused by hot air rising and cold air falling.  If the hot air near the surface was heavily laden with ozone it could help to replenish the missing ozone.

    Unfortunately tornadoes rarely push air as high in the atmosphere as the ozone hole, and they rarely occur in the same location.  The ozone hole occurs mostly over the south pole due to the polar airs properties, tornadoes usually occur where warm humid semi-tropical air meets cold sub arctic air.
