  2. Well, it could perhaps be, just as the Moon could perhaps be made of green cheese and pixies may be living in mushrooms in Kent.  In the absence of any supporting evidence, however, I'd issue caution against accepting this conclusion as being true.

  3. I doubt it. Although trees do send signals to other trees because of chemicals they send through the air, these gaseous molecules are too heavy and would not escape the Earth's gravity unlike the lighter gases like helium and hydrogen.
