Could a vaccum leak make your car run hot?

under my ignition is hot and on the drivers side floor is hot

it is very unlikely that a vacuum leak would make you car run hot enough to feel it through the floor board. and you would notice an increase in sound from the motor if you had an exhaust leak big enough to affect the temp. of the inside of the vehicle. you may want to see if any exhaust shields have fallen off.

Don't think so. That is probably the exhaust system.

Yes.  The vacuum leak causes a rich condition in the motor.  The computer/distributor retards the timing causing the motor to run hot.
