Could a zombie apocalypse be possible?

so i've been watching all these zombie movies like resident evils, 28 days later, 28 weeks later, diary of the dead, dawn of the dead and I am legend. What are some of ya'lls take on the possibility of a zombie apocalypse happening? some of it I can see like the viral outbreaks but alot of it I can't see like the rage disease where the dumb people just starve. makes sense to anyone? or utter nonsense. serious answers please.

dont get scared or anything from this but......  The government lies to us all the time. It is not likly they have aliens, zombies, mosters, and all that c**p people get scared of. But The Worlds population is over 7BILLION and that could end in billions dieing from wold over population, and the government doesnt care about us, just themselfs and they will kill alot of us to protect themselfs and their familys. Nobody knows how this will happen swine flu shot? fema death camps? new world order? but take my word and NEVER LISTEN TO THE GOVERNMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!

there is a virus called humiribicondrea that is rite know only in the rat and rodent speices. if this viros does happen to break out into the real world, it would start in africa, were it was discovered.this virus will atack the brain and take over the human body. then the body will start to mimeck the virus. the body will start to go into panick mode and will try to attack any living oranisom. at this stage the body is completly dead.but the virus is still remaining in the body taking controle. so it is posible that we do have this out braek, but scientist do not think that this virus will break out soon. but is highly posible. but the only question is, when will a apademick out break happen like this?

Their is this Virus called Toxoplasmosa Rhabdoviridae Gondii infecting rats in Eastern Euroupe. What it is a modifyed Rabies that infects the brain and nervous system. These rats are attacking eachother along with other animals such as cats, dogs and even a human in one instance. This disease is passed through blood or saliva contact of an open wound. As far as we know it is not able to infect humans. But if this virus is able to infect humans and spread, it will infect people all over Europe and possibly even the world.

Could a Zombie Apocalypse happen? Well yes but most likley not!!! a new super virus being forming called DiTaoxiplamosa Rhabdoviridae is affecting many rats in Eastern Europe. This Super virus attacks their mind and makes them canibalistic towards eachother. These rats have no self control over their mind and will attack anything that even moves. Their Three Main central nueorlogic vesels that pass right through the Cerebrum gets infected. Cerebrum makes up 85% of the brain and controls the thinking and nervous system. With rats being infected you got to see the true picture, can rats transfer this super virus to humans? The simple truth is that rats have transfered many diseases to humans, Such as the Black Plauge and Sialodacryoyoaddentitis. Like i said before this probably wont ever turn into a zombie apocalypse, and you most likely won't ever need to ever stress over it.

I should worry more about influenza virus. This virus is actually REAL. It changes itself all the time and sometimes a real killer comes up. The Swine Flu we had last year was not even that worse. (A lot of the reported deaths in Mexico had other causes.) Yes, some people died, but that was nothing compared to the Spanish flu from the 1920s when more people where killed than during WW 1!

I take it back zombies do exist. They are the guys who take all those films to seriously and actually prepare for it, while real (potential) threats are developing out there.

A zombie apocalypse is definately possible and it will happen some day.  I think that the most likely causes will be some mutated version of a virus like mad cow(madder cow?) or rabies that turn normal people violent and can be spread by body secretions(soliva, blood, ect.).  Or possibly self-replicating nanobots(scientists are working on these now) that take over dead bodys via the cortex which gives them controll of the body.  The nanobots would replicate and make the body attack other people to spread via body secretions.  Scientists have already made nanobots by fusing a tiny microchip to a virus, and they can continue to function inside of the host for months after death of the host. So BE PREPARED FOR THE APOCALYPSE!!!

I dont have the article...Im going to post it here later but I read that a team of scientists created a parasite and when he injected into himself it took over his brain and caused him to become primal and crazy...attacking anyone in sight
