It all depends on your definition of *decently*. I have lived and worked in Honduras and it certainly can be done for that amount of money,but honestly it is just barely enough to get by.Locals can do it for that amount and less but it will take you a year or two to learn what they already know.

Not really that decently. Decently, you&#039;d need twice as much. Rent might run you as little as $200 but it wouldn&#039;t be a great place. $300 is more realistic. Food depends on your taste. If you buy only staples and never eat out, 200 would do it for a month conftrably.

$400 a month you could survive but with no perks. The other 400 would allow you to have a phone and cable TV plus a few nights out of your $200 apartment.
