Could an Andrewsarchus take out an Allosaurus?

I don't thin it could since an Allosaurus was the coolest animal ever, but what do you think?

No, seeing as it lived about 100 million years later and was nowhere near as large.  It also lived in Mongolia rather than North America.  Andrew S was perhaps approaching four metres in length.  At least, comparisons with better preserved relatives points to that kind of figure.  That's larger than any tiger.  Allo S was comfortably twice that length.  That would suggest a considerably heavier animal.

    Imagine an oversized tiger considering an attack on an oversized Nile crocodile.  It wouldn't be a healthy option to try.
