Could any one help me with the train stations In switzerland. I would like to go to Interlaken from Paris.?

I would like to travel from Paris to switzerland by Train. I have the following queries

1. How far is Gare De Lyon station from CDG airport and how can I reach there?

2. In wchich station I should get down to go to Interlaken? If there is no TGV staion which is the closest staion and how do I take a connection?

3.How and from Where can I take Golden Pass Panoramic. I am mainly confused with the train staions and connections. Is TGV staion is different from other train staions? Kindly advise

There isn't a specific TGV station in Switzerland. Geneva has two main stations, Geneva and Geneva Airport. Geneva is the one you'd normally want. The TGV and all the other French trains go to the France side of the airport. You go through customs (though there may or not be anyone actually asking you anything) and come out to the Switzerland side. From there, follow the signs that say CFF (French language initials for Swiss trains)--it's maybe a 10 minute walk through the station.

If you go through Lausanne or Zurich, the customs people will board the train (and again may or may not talk to you) and you just get off like any other train in Switzerland, same station.

The Golden Pass line is again, just like any other, except you may need reservations (normally in Switzerland you don't--on the TGV you do). Montreux is quite a small station, only four or so tracks, so it's easy to find. The train itself is white with gold writing on it, "Golden Pass Panoramic" and hard to miss! But you can always find out which track to go to on the TV screens or the big yellow boards. Get off in Zweisimmen, which is the end, and then transfer to Interlaken--again, TVs or yellow boards will tell you which track. There are two stations in Interlaken--Interlaken Ost (east) and Interlaken West. You may have to take a bus from one to the other (10 mins), not all trains stop at both. Sometimes they also make announcements (and in those areas, likely in English as well) but I find them hard to hear. And above the platform will be a blue sign with the major stops and the end point of the next train, along with the time it leaves.

If you don't have a Eurrail Pass or Swiss Pass, you need a ticket that will say Paris-Geneve (or Lausanne)-Montreux-Zweisimmen-Interlaken (plus maybe the reservation). If you just ask for a ticket to Interlaken it will normally be Paris-Lausanne-Bern-Interlaken. If you have a pass, it's the same price either way (again, except for the reservation).

CDG Airport to Paris, Gare de Lyon Station

After collecting your baggage and going through passport control, go to "information" in the airport building.

Ask where exactly you take the Air France Bus to the Gare de Lyon Station.

The bus leaves from the front of the airport every half hour, and takes about 55 minutes to reach the Gare de Lyon Station.(From Terminal 1 the bus leaves from Door 34 on the arrivals level and from Terminal 2 it leaves from Door B1 and Door C2).

The bus is line no. 4 and the terminus for this bus is Montparnasse Station, in Paris, and the Gare de Lyon Station is the first stop within the city.

The fare is 12 Euros.

Interlaken (in Switzerland) - There are no direct trains. The only (reasonable) overnight connection requires the traveler to change trains in Basel or Liestal (and leave from Paris Gare de l'Est). Departures are daily from PARIS LYON station unless noted.

All the connections shown here will arrive in Interlaken (from the west) and stop first at Interlaken West station. For those going into the Bernese Oberland (e.g. Gimmelwald), stay on the train to Interlaken Ost.
